Crédit Agricole Egypt launched its CSR initiative in 2012 evolving from the Bank’s values: Proximity (to our environment), Advise (to our customers) and Usefulness (to our community).
When formed in 2012 the CSR activities and projects focused on 3 main pillars: Education, Health & Environment.
Considering the level of CSR activities, projects and budget that Crédit Agricole Egypt has reached, the creation of the Foundation was the next mile.
Within its sense of social responsibility to carry out sustainable projects for the benefit of the Egyptian society CAE Foundation for Development was formed as a non- profit NGO fully owned by CAE to serve the poor segment of the society. It was newly established in the middle of 2017 as it has been licensed by Ministry of Social Solidarity in May 2017.
Strategy: Ensuring a comprehensive sustainability of its projects, FOCUSING ON YOUTH to create a positive impact on society.
Its mission is to create a scalable platform aiming to change people’s lives with a recognizable impact on the community.
Vision: to improve the social welfare of the community, provide sustainable development, relieve suffering of the poor and promote their interests as well as increasing awareness which all result in positive, long-term outcomes at a larger scale by diversifying sources of funds.
Launching Crédit Agricole Egypt’s Foundation for Development is at the core of Crédit Agricole Egypt’s strategy and Credit Agricole Group’s fundamental values, which are based on having an impact on our society.
With a special focus on YOUTH
The Foundation is keen that any project takes into consideration the Bank’s initiative concerning keeping the green friendly environment and digitalization.
