In addition, it ensures the respect of the bank\u2019s internal policies and procedures. The Committee\u2019s mandate is to ensure a high level of clarity, transparency and reliability of all financial statements.\u00a0 The Committee maintains a close relationship with the bank\u2019s auditors internal and external, audit, compliance, risk and financial matters.
\nThe Audit Committee presents recommendations to the Board of Directors for approval.<\/p>\n
As per the Bank\u2019s Governance Regulations, the objective of the Risk Committee is to assist the Board of Directors in fulfilling its oversight responsibilities in respect to business risk and the relevant control processes, the profile risk. This committee is also mandated for risk management, reviewing risk policies and presenting recommendations to the Board.<\/p>\n
The purpose of the Governance nomination and remuneration committee is to assist the Board in matters relating to its composition, structure, policies and processes. It also supports the Board to meet all relevant legal and regulatory requirements and to achieve global corporate governance best practice standards.
