Recognizing the importance of supporting the economies where the bank operates as one of the priorities of Credit Agricole Egypt, the bank was the Platinum Sponsor of the American Chamber of Commerce’s special conference; “Egypt’s New Investment Horizon: The Promise of Tomorrow.”

 

Credit Agricole Egypt always strives to support the Egyptian economy not only through taking part in major projects but also by sponsoring important economic gatherings. In fact, this conference was a notable opportunity for key players in the Egyptian market to discuss the future of investments in Egypt in the coming period. It gathered prominent figures, both from the public and the private sectors, to address the new opportunities for investments in Egypt after the recent reforming measures carried out by the government.

 

The conference, which was held at the Cairo Marriott Hotel, witnessed the participation of several eminent speakers including H.E. Sahar Nasr, Minister of Investment and International Cooperation, Mr. Ahmed Kouchouk, Vice Minister of Finance for Fiscal Policies and Institutional Reform, and Mr. Mohamed Khodeir, Chief Executive Officer, General Authority for Investments and Free Zones (GAFI). Credit Agricole Egypt’s senior management members attended the conference as well as to many high officials from many private sector corporations from various fields.
