Crédit Agricole Egypt, 2022 Standalone Financial Results – Press Release

The Board of Directors of Credit Agricole Egypt approved the Bank’s results for the year ended on December 31, 2022, at its meeting on Thursday, February 9, 2023.

 

Main Highlights

  • Highest ever Net Profit of EGP 2,419 million, up 52% Year-on-Year
  • Customer Deposits reached EGP 60.5 billion, up 25% Year-on-Year
  • Gross Loans reached EGP 35.1 billion, up 13% Year-on-Year
  • Current and Saving accounts to Total Deposits reached 59.4% up by 602 bps Year-on-Year
  • Good quality of assets, Non-performing Loans ratio at 2.8%
  • Loans-to-Deposit Ratio at 58%
  • Resilient capital structure, Capital Adequacy ratio of 18.69%
  • Return on Average Assets of 3.6% and Return on Average Equity of 26%
